Sony have announced an important firmware update for SxS-1 memory cards. The update
increases the stability of your recordings and fixes a 'media
error' bug which caused the cards to appear full before they
actually were.
If you're using an SxS PRO card, don't worry -
your firmware's fine. If you're using the SxS-1 card, you'll need
to check the production lot number of your card to see if it needs
updating. This is printed next to the write-protect switch on your
card, as shown in this helpful diagram from Sony:

If your card has one of the production lot numbers listed below,
you need to back up the data on your card, then
wipe it and send it to Sony,
who'll upgrade it and get it back to you within five business days.
The upgrade will delete any data left on your card.
Sony will pay for the shipping of the card, provided you send it
to them via UPS. if you arrange your delivery on UPS' website, you
can specify that you want your delivery to be billed to Sony by
selecting 'billed to receiver or third party' on the payment
options screen, then entering the receiver's account number 7476w9,
their country as Belgium and their postcode as 1840.
