Avid have announced support for the new Mac Pros, based on the Intel Xeon ‘Nehalem’ processor. Only a few months since the New Mac was released, Avid have shown their agility and commitment to producing the best edit systems by quickly harnessing the extra power of the new machines. Along with this announcement, they’re also offering a raft of special offers on Avid video and audio solutions, including offering existing users an amazing promo deal: to trade-in older Meridian or Adrenaline hardware for a Nitris DX-based system - with a huge discount.
