Your invite to the Media Composer 6 launch

Expect glitz, glamour and groundbreaking editing power - Avid has announced the official UK launch of Media Composer 6. As with all the best parties, they've left sending the invites until late in the day (the event is on Wednesday 7th December), so register your place now.

Avid has also fashionably kept details of what to expect at the launch fairly ambiguous, but we bet there'll be at least a few powerful machines running Media Composer 6, and also the chance to ask the guys from Avid any spec questions about the latest version of the NLE.

The launch event takes place on Wednesday 7th December at the House of St Barnabas, 1 Greek Street, London, W1D 4NQ in two afternoon sessions.

This is the perfect chance to see MC 6 in action and check out the new 64-bit power and 3D support. It will also be interesting to see if Avid is running it on any third-party interfaces, as the software is no longer tied to their own hardware.
